Speaker Biography: As a music supervisor and executive on such films as The Big Lebowski, Sweet Home Alabama and Dead Man Walking, Dawn Solér joined ABC Studios in 2006 to bring her extensive film experience to the world of television. Once there, she established a full-service music department that manages every musical component on all of its shows -- the hiring of music supervisors and composers, budgets and integrating music from programming into marketing.

She created the network's Music Lounge website to further expose songs featured on such musically rich series as Code Black, Once Upon a Time, Black-ish and showrunner Shonda Rhimes' powerhouse slate of Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, and How to Get Away With Murder.

Dawn created the On the Record concert special to promote Nashville, which led to different iterations of the concept for various platforms including an online series on the ABC Music Lounge website as well as three network concert specials.

Dawn has been awarded Billboard’s Women in Music three times, as well as Best Music Department by the Music Supervisors Guild. She is a gardening and cooking enthusiast who shares a home in Thousand Oaks with her husband of 21 years, 13-year old daughter and multitude of animals.

The Technology Management Program's Speaker Series - Innovator Stories is one of the program's premier events.
