Speaker Biography: After 15 years running Partner Management at Yahoo, Mr. Cobb was just announced as the President of the America's for Media.net, the worlds #2 largest advertising technology company, after Google. In this role he oversees a 600+ team of business, product and marketing staff across seven global offices that service monetization, content management and digital marketing for more than 500,000 web sites, including the NY Times, Forbes, Hearst, The Street, Meredith, WebMD, CNN and FoxNews. Josh is also a member of the Santa Barbara Angel Alliance, an angel investor group focused on startup and early-stage companies. SBAA members have invested more than $5M in over 100 companies across the U.S. and have participated in numerous public and private exits.

Drawing from prominent academic researchers, experienced business professionals, and successful entrepreneurs this series gives UC Santa Barbara's students as well as the community the rare opportunity to learn directly from those who have excelled through innovation and dedication to their work.
