Goleta Entrepreneurial Magnet Showcases Teams

G2 Summer Accelerator teams pitch ideas at Bacara Resort & Spa event

Dermachill, Vibe, EVMatch, Urbavore, SoundCrutch and Dog Spot could become household words if young entrepreneurs make it big. All six were created by entrepreneurs chosen to be a part of the 2016 G2 Summer Accelerator.

The program is part of the Goleta Entrepreneurial Magnet (GEM) that provides mentors and guidance to teams ready to look for investors. Gem is a city of Goleta, Goleta Valley Chamber of Commerce and University of California, Santa Barbara collaboration.

On Tuesday, six teams gave 10 minute pitches to members of the business community at the Bacara Resort & Spa. After the pitches they showed off their ideas at tables during an outdoor cocktail party.
