MTM is one of the 25 Master's Degrees with Highest Salary Potential

by Elizabeth Acebu

The MTM is #8 on this Forbes list of Masters degrees with the highest salary potential. MBA doesn't even make it into the top 20.

According to the article, the MTM degree will yield an average mid-career salary of $125,000.  Engineering Management appears at #22 on the same list with an average mid-career salary of $117,000, confirming the value of combining engineering and technology with management skills.

Salary numbers can be expected to further increase for managers who work on specialized projects or specialize in highly in-demand fields of engineering, including those ranked most highly in Payscale surveys and Bureau of Labor statistics: Petroleum Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), Computer Science Engineering and Biomedical Engineering.
