John Dorman

President and CEO of Digital Insight


John Dorman is an active Board advisor to high growth technology companies, currently serving on the Boards of CoreLogic, Inc. (NYSE- CLGX), Data Direct Networks, Inc., and DeepDyve, Inc.  Until recently, he also served as Chairman of the Board of Online Resources Corporation (Nasdaq- ORCC), which was acquired by ACI Worldwide in March, 2013.

Mr. Dorman retired in 2004 as Chairman, President and CEO of Digital Insight Corporation, after a six year tenure.   Digital Insight was the leading provider of hosted online banking and bill payment services in the US, serving more than 2,000 financial institutions.  He led the growth of Digital Insight from less than $4 million in revenues to over $200 million in revenues and, during his tenure, the company was named by Deloitte & Touche as the fastest growing technology company in Southern California.   He led the company’s successful initial public offering in 1999 and, after retiring, he remained active on Digital Insight’s Board of Directors until the company was acquired in 2007 by Intuit Corporation for $1.35 billion in cash.

Prior to joining Digital Insight, Mr. Dorman was Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Global Financial Services Division of Oracle Corporation. In this position, he was responsible for all of the product development, services and sales to major banks and brokerage firms worldwide, generating more than $400 million in revenues. He was promoted into this position shortly after Oracle acquired Treasury Services Corporation in early 1997. Mr. Dorman was the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Treasury Services Corporation when it was acquired by Oracle.  The Treasury Services suite of enterprise management applications for major banks form the core of software products currently known as Oracle Financial Services Applications.   Before founding Treasury Services Corporation in 1983, Mr. Dorman spent 11 years at Union Bank of California, where he progressed rapidly through a number of management positions and became Treasurer of the bank from 1979 to 1983.

Mr. Dorman received a BA degree with a double major in Business Administration and Philosophy from Occidental College in 1971 and an MBA degree in Finance from University of Southern California in 1979.   In addition to his business activities, he is also very involved in philanthropy, serving on the Board of the Sterling Foundation, a private philanthropic foundation, and also serving since 2010 as Chairman of the Board of the Yosemite Conservancy.  He was named Entrepreneur of the Year in the Greater Los Angeles Area by Ernst & Young in 2003.
