Lynn is a global and strategic CFO executive with over 25 years of progressive financial experience in high-tech manufacturing, entertainment & music, executive search and Big 4 public accounting industry sectors, in both domestic and international environments. She started in the San Francisco office of Ernst & Young after graduating from UCSB in 1989 (BA Business Economics, Accounting emphasis), and has lived and worked in Southern California and Paris, France throughout her career. As a member of the executive team, her focus is on creating efficient, adaptable and high-performing finance teams that are true partners to business and function leaders in planning and executing strategic goals. Whether in periods of downturn, high growth, reorganizations, structure changes, divestitures or acquisitions, she and her teams will ensure that appropriate financial reporting and analysis tools and robust forecasting and budgeting models are in place, ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and accounting and reporting standards, establish and enforce appropriate internal controls, and ensure that teamwork, communication, learning and having fun stay a priority. Lynn is also convinced that everyone can and should understand accounting and finance, and is thrilled to be instructing TMP X130B - Accounting and Finance for Start-Ups.
