For nearly thirty years, Stephen Duneier has merged cognitive science with investment management. The result has been 20+ average annualized returns, the development of a $1.25 billion dollar hedge fund, turnaround of numerous institutional trading businesses and career best returns for experienced portfolio managers who have adopted his methodologies. 

Through Bija Advisors' coaching and consulting practice, he helps experienced hedge fund managers, CIO's and asset allocators improve performance by applying proven decision-making skills to their own processes.

As a speaker, Stephen has been delivering talks at conferences and in boardrooms around the world for more than 20 years on topics including global macroeconomic themes, how a more mindful approach to decision making can improve performance and the keys to living a more deliberate life.

Stephen Duneier was formerly Global Head of Currency Option Trading at Bank of America, Managing Director in charge of Emerging Markets at AIG International and founding partner of hedge funds, Grant Capital Partners and Bija Capital Management. His artwork has been featured in international publications and on television programs around the world, and is represented by the Sullivan Goss Gallery. He received his master's degree in finance and economics from New York University's Stern School of Business. 

Mr. Duneier teaches Decision Analysis in the TMP and MTM programs at the University of California in Santa Barbara.
