Course provides high-level overview of strategic marketing skills needed to succeed in today’s competitive business environment. Will enable motivated business and tech-oriented student to conduct detailed competitive, market & industry analyses in order to execute an effective strategic marketing plan, focusing on start-ups & established tech companies. Majority of course will be skill-building through assigned readings, seminar lectures, guest lectures and case studies. In addition to gaining expertise, students will benefit from working in teams and contributing to class discussions. Course will culminate in group presentations of strategic marketing project. Projects will be reviewed by a panel with representation from industry.
