Learn tech management in an on-hands, real-world context
Build a network of experts at the world's leading tech firms
Grow into a tech leader

YOU'RE A GEEK. OWN IT!

Are you a graduate of an undergraduate program or an early career professional with technical background and experience? Do you want to learn the business skills you need to advance your career by enrolling in a full-time, on-campus graduate program?

If so, the Master of Technology Management (MTM) at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) is for you. We offer hands-on, real-world training with senior executives at the world's leading tech firms. You learn how to build and manage technical teams, develop and launch new products, and start and run tech companies, large and small.

Because our program lasts only 9 months, you'll pay less and spend less time studying in MTM than in a Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a Master in Engineering Management (MEM). Studies also show that those with MTM degrees get paid more and promoted faster.

MTM Highlights

MTM Graduation - Friday, June 16, 2017
Student Spotlight: Tim Martinez is graduating with his Class of 2017 from the Master of Technology Management program in June. He completed his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at UC San Diego.
By Martin Todorov, MTM Student, Class of 2017
That was the title of the workshop I presented last month at the 2016 Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) National Conference in Long Beach, California.

Do you want to run product development, not just work on a piece of it? Do you want to lead your team, not just contribute to it? The Master of Technology Management (MTM) trains you to become a tech leader.
