Fares Ahmad

Fares Ahmad is a Ph.D. student in the Technology Management Department. He earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida and his Master of Social Science from UCLA. He has over a decade of international experience scaling technologies for organizations such as Procter & Gamble, Apple, Boeing, and GE Aviation. Fares is currently studying the intersection of compassion and technology. His research interests include identity; informal structures; AI; technology implementation; perceived similarity; trust; qualitative, inductive, field research; cross-level analyses; computational social science; ethnography; empathic concern; emerging technologies, and the future of work.
