NVC Alumni to BranchOut

Thursday, July 6, 2017

Founders Lindsay Martien, Nicole Poletto, and Rick Thomas will soon officially launch their company, BranchOut, in Santa Barbara. BranchOut provides fun and exciting environmental activities for children in the nature setting, similar to that of the popular ‘escape room’ experience.

Over the summer, BranchOut will be partnering with the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History to operate as an exhibit to the public. For more information about the company and to purchase tickets to one of their upcoming events, visit their website at branchoutgames.com.

The founders participated in the Technology Management Program’s annual 2017 New Venture Competition and their business plan, BranchOut, advanced to the semifinals at the New Venture Fair. You can watch a short video of BranchOut here.

About BranchOut

BranchOut designs games that give kids and experience in nature they will never forget. Modeled off the popular "escape room" movement, our timed environmental missions challenge families to work together to solve puzzles and unlock clues by exploring the world around them. Go up against your fiercest rival in the hunt for a mammoth fossil, form a league of secret agent scientists to rescue a government project, or give an entirely new theme a try!
