12 Teams to Compete at 2021 New Venture Fair on April 29

Technology Management's New Venture Competition (NVC) is UCSB’s flagship entrepreneurial experience. Over the course of eight total months, students work in multi-disciplinary teams under the guidance of faculty and mentors as they address a business problem or opportunity and take their business ideas from concept to reality.

The New Venture Fair is the first of two culminating events and this year, will highlight 12 teams that have worked diligently on their startup ideas for the past 7 months. The entirely virtual format will enable you to listen to pre-recorded “quick” team pitches (preview available at 4 pm), engage with the teams via live stream video, and ask questions via online chat.

Your attendance and scoring as an audience member will help determine which teams advance to the New Venture Competition Finals, scheduled to take place on May 20th, where finalists compete for cash awards.
