Fred Gluck Receives the 2015 Venky Narayanamurti Award

On the evening of Wednesday, March 11, the Technology Management Program at UC Santa Barbara honored Fred Gluck with the 2015 Venky Narayanamurti Entrepreneurial Leadership Award.  Fred Gluck was recognized for over 40 years of business and entrepreneurial leadership with McKinsey & Co, The Bechtel Group, AMGEN, CytomX, LLC, Cynvenio, LLC, Bell Telephone Laboratories, HCA, and many more. 

On hand to celebrate were UCSB Chancellor, Henry Yang, Executive Vice Chancellor, David Marshall,  Dean of the College of Engineering, Rod Alferness, Executive Dean of the College of Letters and Science, Melvin Oliver, and the Dean of Extended Learning Services, Michael Brown as well as over 80 friends and supporters. Also in attendance were over 10 past awardees of the Entrepreneurial Award representing leaders in the Santa Barbara business community.

The Venky Narayanamurti Award is conferred annually on an individual who has demonstrated success and leadership in the high-technology entrepreneurial community who represents a superb level of distinction in any entrepreneurship-related activity in the high-tech arena.
