In yet another honor for the UCSB College of Engineering, it has been ranked #8 among the top 50 best value graduate engineering programs in the U.S. by Value Colleges. The ranking is based on UCSB’s high ranking in U.S. News & World Report 2016 Best Engineering Graduate Schools (# 23); cost of tuition, and salary for both recent graduates and mid-career engineers according to PayScale’s 2016 College Salary Report, which ranks UCSB No. 7 (annual salary data reported for entry-level engineers at $67,600 and mid-level engineers at $131,000).
The UCSB College of Engineering is consistently highly ranked in national and worldwide surveys of academic programs, thanks to an incredibly strong current faculty that includes 2 Nobel Laureates, 18 National Academy of Engineering Members, 5 National Academy of Sciences members and 1 Winner of the Millennium Technology Prize.
The Master of Technology Management (MTM) is the newest addition to the College of Engineering’s degree programs, and is focused on teaching early-career engineers to be leaders of technology ventures both within startups and at tech companies. During the course of the nine-month program, graduate students in the MTM program are prepared to be leaders of the people and processes that create successful technology products.
