Kathrin Wagner is a research specialist in the Technology Management Department. She is currently working with Prof. Renee Rottner on a research study to establish reliable early indicators of new venture viability. Kathrin also supports the Master of Technology Management (MTM) program by assisting faculty, staff, lecturers and students with program administration. A UCSB alum, Kathrin has a Master’s degree in Environmental Science & Management from the UCSB’s Bren School, with an emphasis on corporate sustainable management, eco-entrepreneurship and impact investment evaluation. She also has a Master’s degree in applied physics from the Technical University of Munich, Germany. Kathrin is a practicing patent attorney advising European firms in all aspects of intellectual property, particularly in developing customized strategies for establishing strong intellectual property portfolios, creating value for partnership agreements, and avoiding costs and conflicts.
