Fielding Monograph Series Includes Dr. Karen Bogart's Research on Sustainability Leadership

Dr. Karen A. Smith Bogart recently published her paper in Fielding Graduate University’s Fielding Monograph Series: Sustainability Leadership: Integrating Values, Meaning, and Action. Her paper was on “Understanding the influence of board of directors on corporate social responsibility in U.S. public companies” (2015).

The Fielding Monograph Series is a collection of empirical research on sustainability from various scholars, with perspectives from environmental to ecological to business enterprises. Bogart reports on the influence of boards of directors of large U.S. public companies on corporate social responsibility (CSR), and considers their involvement and impact, and identifies implications for their role.

Bogart is a graduate of Fielding Graduate University’s PhD program in Human and Organizational Systems, and has professional experience global business management, board leadership, marketing, innovation, operations, change management and human resources. She is currently the President of Smith Bogart Consulting, Inc., a business advisory firm based in Santa Barbara.
