Applications Now Open for MTM's Fall 2027 Cohort
UC Santa Barbara's Master of Technology Management (MTM) program is excited to announce that applications for the Fall 2027 cohort are now open via the UCSB Graduate Division Application.
Housed within the globally-ranked Robert Mehrabian College of Engineering, the Master of Technology Management (MTM) program is a nine-month master’s degree that gives early- to mid-career professionals the essential technology skills, business acumen, and entrepreneurial mindset to accelerate their careers and lead in today’s rapidly evolving AI and technology landscape. This innovative program is designed for those who want a strong foundation in business management, but want to focus on building the essential skills to succeed in the tech-based economy.
The program is coming off a successful 2025-2026 school year, celebrating an 89% job placement rate amongst 2026 graduates. The year also saw the launch of the Engineering + Technology Management (E+TM) fellows program, which integrates engineering undergraduates with MTM via exclusive workshops and guaranteed admission into the master's program following the completion of their bachelor's degree. Staff and faculty alike are looking forward to welcoming the incoming cohort, while expanding upon the program's curriculum and experiential learning opportunities for future cohorts to come.
All applicants who apply by the December 2nd deadline are able to apply to the program for free.
