David Adornetto

Entrepreneurship Director, Technology Management

As Entrepreneurship Director at UC Santa Barbara’s Department of Technology Management, Dave develops educational programs and co-curricular activities in the areas of entrepreneurship and new venture creation. He is the chief architect and overseer of UCSB’s campus-wide New Venture Program & Competition, Wilcox Startup Incubator, and G2 Summer Launchpad, where he coaches entrepreneurial-minded students on how to develop and launch a startup business. Prior to joining UCSB, Dave spent 20+ years in the med-tech space, most recently as COO for InTouch Health, a robotic-enabled telemedicine company that was acquired in 2020 for $1.1B. Previous career stops included Mentor Corporation and Deloitte. Dave earned a BA in Business Economics from UCSB, and an MBA from UCLA.
