Seongho Hwang
Ph.D. Student
Seongho Hwang is a Ph.D. student in Technology Management. His research interests include technological innovation and the commercialization of emerging technologies, particularly in the bio sector. He is especially interested in how firms grow, create value, and navigate innovation ecosystems and venture capital markets, which he studies primarily through econometric methods. He holds an M.A. in Development Policy from the KDI School of Public Policy and Management and an M.A. in Economics from the Barcelona School of Economics. He earned his B.A. in Arabic from Busan University of Foreign Studies. Previously, he held research positions at the Science and Technology Policy Institute (STEPI) and the Korea Development Institute (KDI), and also completed a research internship at the African Development Bank (AfDB).
