Yuhan Liu
Ph.D. Student
Yuhan is a Ph.D. student in Technology Management. Prior to joining UCSB, he earned his M.A. from the Weatherhead East Asian Institute, Columbia University, where he studied the institutional dynamics and legitimacy-seeking strategies of indigenous Chinese management consulting firms. He additionally served as an Intern Researcher at a leading artificial intelligence research laboratory, where he employed patent-based network analysis to examine the structural transformation of Nvidia’s innovation ecosystem. His current research centers on the role of artifacts as mediators in strategic coordination among heterogeneous expert communities, as well as the generation and evolution of trust within complex human-machine configurations.
