The Technology Management Program’s faculty and lecturers serve the University’s dual mission of rigorous disciplinary research and professional teaching.  Our faculty have international reputations for scholarship on technology, management, and innovation.  They also have real world knowledge of management problems and practices which, when combined with their scholarly knowledge, enables them to offer our Masters students a well-rounded professional education and our doctoral student with world-class training in research methods as well as social scientific and managerial theory.  Our faculty have won numerous prestigious national and international awards for the impact of their research.  Many of our faculty and lecturers have founded and run high-tech firms and have advised some of the world’s leading technology companies.

The Technology Management Program at UC Santa Barbara is pleased to announce that Kyle Lewis, Professor of Technology Management, has been appointed as the Chair of the program, effective July 1, 2017.  
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
Professor Stephen R. Barley recently spoke at the Clarendon Lectures at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford during a three-day talk series from October 25-27.
