Technology Management faculty serve UC Santa Barbara’s dual mission of rigorous disciplinary research and professional teaching. Our faculty have international reputations for scholarship on technology, management, and innovation and real world knowledge of management problems and practices which, when combined with their scholarly knowledge, enables them to offer students a well-rounded professional education and doctoral students world-class training in research methods as well as social scientific and managerial theory. Technology Management faculty have won numerous prestigious national and international awards for the impact of their research. Many of our faculty have founded and run high-tech firms and have advised some of the world’s leading technology companies.
